Dear Amada Family,
Our personal experiences watching our own loved ones struggle to maintain their safety, independence, and dignity as they aged and suffered health setbacks inspired our desire to own and operate a senior care business that could assist families like ours by providing non-medical, top-quality home care.
“During the years that I have spent as a physician on medical floors and in the emergency department, it was heartbreaking for me to see elderly patients denying that they needed help at home and trying to argue that they could recover on their own for fear of having to transition to a nursing home,” said Dr. Ziad Masri.
“Our senior citizens deserve to spend their golden years at home with family, treated with dignity and compassion,” he added. “Our mission at Amada Senior Care Medina is to do everything we can to help senior citizens in our community to receive the quality compassionate care that they need, at home with family.”
Says Jaylan Masri, “My father, aged 69, suffered a stroke which left him hemiplegic. After several months of surgery and rehab in a skilled nursing facility, my brother and I decided it was best to continue his care at home.
“My family and I were mainly responsible for his care. Because caring for my father was exhausting and sometimes challenging, we needed a little extra help, so we hired part-time caregivers. This is the reason I want to offer crucial home caregiving services to the seniors of our community. I want our clients and their families to know that they can trust us with their loved ones. Seniors deserve the best care with trust and dignity.”
