Chamber of Commerce and State of the City Address
Mayor Carter attended the Bonney Lake Chamber of Commerce monthly meeting to give a state of the city address. A particularly hot topic was the upcoming renovation and temporary closure of the Bonney Lake Senior Center. Amada is ready to step up and help keep seniors engaged. The expected closure is several months.

Amada Responds to Blood Works NW Code Red
Bloodworks NW put out a code red for donors. Amada Auburn Valley answered the call! Fortunately one of the mobile drives took place at Auburn MultiCare Hospital which is right across the street from Amada Senior Care. Martin walked out the door, crossed Auburn Avenue, and happily did his part to help save lives here in the Pacific Northwest. And of course, it was a great opportunity for Martin to share with the phlebotomists about how Amada cares for seniors at home in this wonderful community!

Community Outings & Events
I’ve been staying actively involved in our local senior community by participating in several resource fairs and events this spring and summer. From the very first resource fair at Adriana Senior Apartments to the Sumner Senior Center and Cogir of Kent, these events are a great way to connect with seniors and share helpful resources. I also enjoyed returning to Mariblu Apartments to sponsor their Happy Hour, where we were able to assist a resident in getting her TransAmerica claim activated. It’s always rewarding to build relationships and support seniors right where they live.
Connecting with Industry Professionals
Amada Senior Care Auburn Valley sponsored a table at one of Pierce County’s Largest Senior Resource Fairs – “Making the Link” put on by Health Care Providers Pierce County (HCPC).
Congratuations to Correana who won an Amada Sweatshirt in our raffle!

Volunteering in the Community
Amada Auburn Valley has volunteered several times at the Bonney Lake Senior Center’s Spaghetti fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association. Martin enjoyed serving up Spaghetti at this event.

Bringing Fun to Mariblu Independent Living:
At Amada Senior Care Auburn Valley, we are dedicated to fostering joy and connection within our local senior community. In January, Martin Onsot, owner of Amada Auburn Valley, had the pleasure of sponsoring a Bingo Night at Mariblu Independent Living Apartments in Tukwila.
The event brought residents together for a night of fun, laughter, and friendly competition, reinforcing the importance of social engagement for older adults.
As part of our commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors, Amada Auburn Valley continues to host and support community events that encourage connection and well-being.
Stay tuned for more upcoming events where we celebrate and support our local seniors!

Amada Auburn Valley at the Pierce County Fall Prevention Resource Fair

Supporting Senior Safety:
Preventing falls is a critical aspect of senior care, and Amada Auburn Valley is committed to educating and supporting older adults in maintaining their independence. In September, Martin attended the Pierce County Fall Prevention Coalition Resource Fair at the Gordon Family YMCA, where he connected with seniors, caregivers, and local organizations to share valuable fall prevention strategies.
The event provided an opportunity to discuss home safety, mobility aids, and practical ways to reduce fall risks for seniors. As a trusted resource in the Auburn Valley community, Amada Auburn Valley is proud to participate in initiatives that empower older adults to live safely and confidently at home.
