for Long-Term Care Insurance Guidance
Greg Getchell, owner of Amada Senior Care Twin Cities, is personally invested with each client. Says Greg, “Over the course of 25 years, I have built a career in healthcare. My involvement in post-acute treatment of stroke patients opened my eyes to the critical importance of in-home care. Moreover, witnessing the aging process of my parents and extended family members has heightened my awareness of the need for quality in-home care for anyone facing physical or mental challenges. At Amada Senior Care Twin Cities, our mission is to provide you and your loved ones with the best possible senior care through our trained and compassionate caregivers.”
At Amada Twin Cities, our team is deeply committed to providing exceptional in-home care that goes beyond helping a client with basic activities of daily living like cooking and bathing. We are dedicated to enriching our clients’ lives. To do this, we invest time in building personal connections with each client allowing us to identify the most meaningful ways to brighten their days. This could mean reading aloud from Grandpa’s favorite book, helping Mom get her hair “just right,” or setting up a time for Nana to meet her grandkids at a nearby park. We recognize that bringing joy to our clients is just as important as ensuring their safety and well-being.
In addition to providing superior home care, we at Amada Twin Cities also offer financial care coordination to help our clients find the best way to pay for care, senior housing placement referrals and veterans assistance including VA Aid and Attendance and VA Contracted Homemaking Services. We are long-term care insurance care experts offering direct advocacy with carriers. We realize that every family’s journey through senior care is different, and we walk beside them every step of the way. You’ll never feel alone when you are part of the Amada Twin Cities family.
We work with clients, families and home caregivers across Twin Cities suburbs including Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Bloomington, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Burnsville, Champlin, Coon Rapids, Crystal, Eden Prairie, Edina, Fridley, Golden Valley, Hopkins, Lino Lakes, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, New Brighton, New Hope, Osseo, Plymouth, Robbinsdale, Shoreview, St. Louis Park, Wayzata, White Bear Lake, and surrounding communities.

I have worked with Amada for a little over a year.Am older and don’t do good with computers and IPhone. Was a little nervous at first because you use the phone alit but was explained very good and the anxious feeling is a lot better.I feel the staff listens to you and what you need.Worked for other companies in the pm and worked at the hospitals and but the staff didn’t communicate with each other and were constant calling me at the hospital. Finally had to quit carrying my phone. The staff is professional and very nice.Love my job!
Fatumati is such a wonderful caregiver! She has been like family to us. She has cared for my mom for the past three and a half years. They developed an incredible bond - so grateful to know her. My mom has recently passed away and I can say- I don't know what we would have done without her. I thank God for her. So trust- worthy, reliable, faithful, and caring!
Meeting with Greg was extremely helpful in going deeper and more specifically into the benefits our long term care policy offers. We connected to our LTC provider and had access to our information through a representative from the company. So helpful to have someone act as an advocate. We learned a lot. Feel armed with useful information. Thank you. Greg.
Fardowsa and Concepcion (“Coco”) are consistently exceptional, caring, and knowledgeable caregivers, going beyond their regular duties.
I am currently using a different care firm in the Twin Cities metro area. This current firm does not qualify for reimbursement benefits under my parents long term care insurance. Greg from Amada spent time with me to explain how it all works. I learned more in 20 minutes than I have dealing with this for the past year. He gave me a clear idea of what can be covered by insurance and what items won't be covered. He really helped me understand how to provide the best care and support for my mom, while getting the most of the cost for care covered by their insurance policy. This is really complicated stuff, and it is nice to have someone in my corner that is an expert in this area. Thank you Greg! I am in the process of switching over to Greg and Amada Senior Care for my mom.
Greg, Kay and Melissa were so professional and efficient. They were able to begin mom’s care with very short notice. We appreciate their kindness and compassion. We highly recommend Amada. Thank you!
