When our 88 year-old uncle was faced with a timely and critical move from a rehabilitation facility to a 24-7 Board and Care, John came to us immediately to assess his needs and Jaden tirelessly searched for a facility that could manage his unique situation. Our uncle, with a fractured neck and left arm, needed more than typical care. Jaden facilitated all of the steps of discharge from the rehab facility and remained there with us and then drove and met us at the Board and Care to ensure our uncle\u2019s smooth transition.\n\nJohn and Jaden, through their own personal experience, understand the facility and financial limitations healthcare places on us when insurance no longer provides viable options.\n\nThey have been a true Godsend for our uncle and us.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n A few days ago, we found ourselves in a difficult situation, we needed a caregiver on short notice to fill in for our primary caregiver for just one day. After calling several places with no success, I reached out to Jaden and John at Amada Senior Care. When no one else could help, they stepped in immediately.\n\nThe last-minute process was quick and straightforward. They sent an invoice, we paid it, and the very next day, the caregiver arrived right on time. Kaylee was incredibly kind, clearly experienced, and picked up the routine after just a 30-minute overview. From that point on, she handled everything confidently without needing further guidance.\n\nMost importantly, she kept Miss Lola, our 101 year old grandmother smiling all day. John Wu at Amada Senior Care stepped in immediately and calmly guided me through everything. When I became overwhelmed, John handled it all, coordinating with the skilled nursing facility, arranging transportation home, and staffing caregivers for the first 48 hours and for ongoing care as long as Mom needs it. What impressed me most is that John truly cares about people, he even recommended that Mom stay in skilled nursing longer instead of bringing her home too soon, which showed he was looking out for her best interests, not his own. His professionalism lifted a huge weight off our family and gave us the breathing room we needed to regroup and manage everything else. We were both delighted to find Amada Senior Care.\n\nTrake is phenomenal at communicating about scheduling changes and support. Joanna manages the care providers that come to our home so beautifully, making notes on care plan changes with consistency and security.\n\nNicole is phenomenal! From her quiet and conscientious observing, to her precise kitchen and laundry skills, care and sincerity walk through the door. She makes snack boxes for my loved one with such kindness, modifying to new food requirements with ease. When we had an unexpected emergency, Nicole was so reassuring and calming, holding safety and care with confidence and compassion. She’s patient, attentive, and so very warm and kind. We love hearing her joy and care for our loved one, especially after they return from their weekly outings.\n\nMarisela is pure joy and light! The first day she arrived, she was joking and laughing with our loved one in minutes! Her experience, confidence, expediency and skill provide each of us with such care and attention. She never stops moving, cleaning, attending to our loved one. \n Amada senior care was highly recommended and we were very pleased and grateful to have found them . First they contacted us almost minutes after I filled out a request for services . The owner John called and told me about how they started the company years ago when needed help for his own Mother and finding it hard to find good care givers . So he and his son started Amada. We had never needed help before now but my husband suffered a heart attack in December right before the holiday . He underwent bypass surgery and was home to recover but still so very weak and unable to do the basic day to day living by himself . I had to return to work so we knew we would need someone with him on the days I left . Amada not only got the ball moving right away during a holiday week they had our house visit and out intake call and questions all finished and ready to get to work helping us . Not only do the care givers help with his needs they did light house cleaning , laundry , meals , helped with our 2 small senior dogs getting the out to go potty every few hours, but most of all we great loving companions that helped my husband . They encouraged him to do his exercises and were always standing by in case he was to weak to finish them and get him safely back into his recliner chair . They made him feel better and with all their help at home made my life a easier and I could feel confident to go to work and know he would be well taken care of . I am sure all the care givers they have are wonderful but I need to acknowledge Judith she was exceptional and went above and beyond always doing so much around the house in addition to caring for Anthony . Also Marisela she too was wonderful . We are forever grateful to have found you . I have already given your name to 2 of my clients and will continue to do so in the future . \n I am pleased to endorse Amada with the highest regard. After my 96-year-old father had heart surgery, he made us promise that he could recover at home. Amanda met us at the hospital for the discharge and came home with us. Their caregivers were highly professional and warm and caring at the same time. My father bonded with many of them as they encouraged him to do the work that he needed to do to recover from his surgery. His caregivers were respectful of my father and the family at all times. In the weeks following his surgery, I did not have one single problem or complaint about any of his caregivers. \n We have been using Amada for 10 months now. I am so glad that I signed up my parents to use their services. Because I don’t live in the area anymore and it can be difficult to meet their daily needs myself. The scheduling team is very responsive and proactive\u00a0about finding replacement\u00a0caregivers when one of the regular ones cannot make a shift. When that does happen though, they take the time to find a good match in personality and pass along the bio of the replacement in advance. But for the majority of the\u00a0time, our caregivers like Kimberly, Gloryvee, Leila, and Jowell, are very reliable. They treat my elderly parents with kindness, respect, and dignity. All of them make the extra effort to not just do the basic tasks of helping them get dressed, getting meals ready, and clean up afterwards but they will many\u00a0times take on other duties; like driving them to get lab work done or helping my dad with some light yard work (which he still enjoys doing but I worry that his declining mental cognition\u00a0may cause accidents – especially outside).\n\nI highly recommend that you talk with the owner John and his son, Jaden about your own caregiver needs. You will be very pleasantly surprised at how well this company is run and how much they make you feel like family too!\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n My siblings and I had the pleasure and good fortune of meeting with Eytan Klawer, in person, less than 24 hours after a phone call with owner John Wu. While we already had a cherished caregiver from a different agency, Eytan met with us and helped guide us through the process of getting Hospice restarted for my 95 year old father. We were frozen, not knowing what to do since Dad’s primary doctor had retired. Within 48 hours, we had a hospice referral and a nurse at the home. Eytan was so compassionate, encouraging and knowledgeable in guiding us. It was such a relief. Cannot recommend Amada Senior Care East Bay enough. He started his company because he had a hard time finding good care for his parents and wanted to break that mold. Their caregivers were a godsend, heating meals, shopping, picking up prescriptions and driving me to doctor’s appointments. There is one gal, Linsey, every single time she comes, she gives 110%. He is immaculate and so is his Apartment when we come to see him after she has been there. We come even when she\u2019s there, but she\u2019s so good to have him out there and participating in anything that\u2019s going on there. \n I have been using Amada’s Senior Care services for my elderly 92 year-old parents for over two months now. The owner John and his son have been very helpful in getting our long-term care insurance policy started and are quick to respond when I need further help. They have a great team of caregivers that are both friendly and excellent in the services they can provide. The scheduling team is available any time – day or night via email or phone – and is very responsive and flexible in allowing for changes in the shifts as I typically need to drive a couple of hours to attend doctor appointments with my parents as they have a difficult time hearing and understanding things now. Because I usually end up spending a night or two on these occasions, I don’t need to have the caregiver there also which can easily be accommodated with at least 24-hour advance notice. I highly recommend Amada to anyone that needs the piece of mind knowing that their elderly parent(s) is being cared for like they were their own family. \u2764\ufe0f\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
